By accessing or using SocioPlex ("the Platform," "we," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all users, including residents, committee members, administrators, visitors using the public chatbot, and anyone interacting with the Platform via WhatsApp.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use SocioPlex. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
You must be a bona fide resident, committee member, or administrator of a residential society registered on the Platform. Providing false information during registration (including incorrect flat numbers or society associations) is a violation of these Terms.
When you register for a SocioPlex account, your account is created in a Pending status. You will have limited access to the platform until a society administrator reviews and approves your account. We reserve the right to reject any registration at the administrator's discretion.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Your phone number serves as your unique identifier. You agree to:
Society administrators have the authority to block or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms, society rules, or other reasons at their discretion. Blocked accounts cannot log in or access any Platform features.
SocioPlex operates with a tiered permission system:
Role assignments are managed by society administrators. Users may not circumvent role-based access controls or access features beyond their assigned permissions.
You agree to use SocioPlex only for lawful purposes related to your residential society management. You shall not:
The SocioPlex AI assistant is powered by third-party large language model technology. While designed to be helpful and accurate, the AI:
The AI assistant supports multiple languages including English, Hindi, and Hinglish. Translation accuracy may vary and should not be relied upon for official or legal communications.
Your chat messages and personal context (name, flat number) are transmitted to our AI provider for response generation. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on AI data processing.
The Community Memory feature allows residents to contribute knowledge that enhances the AI assistant's responses. By submitting a community memory entry, you agree that:
Submitting intentionally false, misleading, or harmful information through Community Memory is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.
The digital visitor pass system is provided for the convenience of residents and the security of the society. By using this feature:
The Platform is not responsible for any incidents arising from visitor access granted through the pass system. Gate access decisions ultimately rest with the society's security team.
If your society enables WhatsApp integration:
Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by Meta's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
To ensure fair and reliable service for all users, the Platform enforces the following limits:
Attempting to circumvent rate limits through IP rotation, multiple accounts, or other means is a violation of these Terms.
The SocioPlex name, logo, design, and all associated software, interfaces, and documentation are the intellectual property of SocioPlex and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for its intended purpose.
Content you generate on the Platform (complaints, chat messages, community memories) remains your content. By submitting community memory entries, you grant SocioPlex a non-exclusive license to use, display, and incorporate that content into the AI's knowledge base for the benefit of your society.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SocioPlex and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Platform in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred Indian Rupees (INR 100), whichever is greater.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to:
You may terminate your account by contacting your society administrator or our support team. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Data retention after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
